Dr. Helburn is an Austin native and attended Southwestern university in Georgetown where she earned a degree in Biology and Animal Behavior. She then went on to attend Tufts University where she graduated Veterinary Medicine with honors in humanitarian word. Dr. Helburn is especially interested in feline medicine and nutrition for cats and dogs. Dr. Helburn has been with Zippivet for over three years and continues to be comitted to a high standard of practice. Outside of work, Dr. Helburn enjoys soccer, hiking, and is working to earn her Master Naturalist certification. She shares her home (which is a certified wildlife habitat) with her husband, three cats, two dogs, and a tortoise.
